About ContactSwap
ContactSwap is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that copies contacts between Google and Outlook, with their photos, and backs them up to a file you can restore later. It is provided by GCalTools (GERSTENBERG, France, SIRET 511 482 481 00016). By installing or using ContactSwap, you agree to these terms.
Purchase and refunds
ContactSwap is a one-time purchase, with no subscription. It is sold through app stores, and the store you buy from processes your payment and handles refunds under its own refund policy. If you have a problem with the app, contact us and we will do our best to help.
Your contacts and your accounts
ContactSwap changes contacts in the accounts you connect, when you ask it to: it creates contacts when you copy or restore, and updates existing contacts when you choose to replace or merge duplicates. Before replacing or merging, the app keeps a safety copy of the contacts it changes so you can undo, and duplicates are skipped unless you choose otherwise. Please review the summary before starting a copy, and keep a backup of contacts you cannot afford to lose.
Google and Microsoft store contacts differently, so some details may be presented differently after copying. Details that Outlook has no field for are added to the contact's notes rather than lost.
You are responsible for having the right to copy the contacts you copy, and for using ContactSwap only with accounts you are allowed to use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting unauthorised access to accounts or services, interfering with Google's or Microsoft's services, making automated or abusive requests, reverse engineering the app, or infringing intellectual property rights.

ContactSwap is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Google LLC or Microsoft Corporation. Google and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC. Microsoft, Outlook and related marks are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.
Provided as-is
ContactSwap is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It depends on Google's and Microsoft's services, which can change or be unavailable, and we make no guarantee about fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GCalTools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ContactSwap, including loss of or changes to data, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the app.
Your data
Your use of ContactSwap is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data the app accesses and how it is protected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nice, France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ContactSwap after an update means you accept the revised terms.
